I am not in favor of doing unnecessary work, and that means removing snow that is just fine where it is. In the depths of winter I shovel off by ice axe, shovel, and hoe the snow and ice necessary to get myself out to the street and leave it at that. Then I shovel a path to my front door. Enough. I'm going inside to warm up.
Of course as soon as you have yourself dug out, here comes some more. We are about due for a new ice age, at which time I expect I won't be worrying so much about my taxes.
These guys at least seem to be having some fun with the weather. Do you need a drivers license to drive one of those things?
